Carmen was born and raised in a small francophone community in rural northern Alberta. She moved to Edmonton in 2010 and began working towards a degree at the French Campus Saint-Jean of the University of Alberta. In 2012 she transferred to the Faculty of Law and completed her Juris Doctor degree. Carmen completed her articling at Kobewka Stark and was called to the bar on October 7, 2016.
During her time here at Kobewka Stark, Carmen has practiced in numerous areas of law, including wills, estates, corporate, estate litigation, civil litigation, real estate, dependent adults and trusteeships, and family law. She has successfully negotiated and litigated a number of matters.
Carmen can speak to clients in either official language. She focuses on listening to clients’ needs and guiding them through the often confusing legal process.
